Using KYUSHU-DANJI with a Thermo Fisher Scientific vial
A hard rubber body with a miniature filter and suction tube is inserted and capped, forming a sealed space at the bottom of the vial. A vacuum pump is then turned on to collect powder samples.

Powder brought close to the suction tube is collected in the vial.

Collection efficiency can be adjusted by changing the type of filter used. For example, in cases where a large number of samples creating large amounts of powder will be used, a more porous filter will increase collection efficiency. We have 1, 2, and 5 µm filters in 1 and 2 mm diameter sizes.
